OB/GYN at Mount Sinai

As your OB/GYN rotation representative, I was shocked when I saw the results of the student learning environment surveys that were presented last career day.  Please know, if you don't already, that this is NOT the way students should be treated on their clerkships by ANYONE.  Not attendings, not residents, not nurses.

However, if we want this to change for future students, we will need to be proactive about this.  For those of you who did OB/GYN at Mount Sinai, I hope you all feel comfortable enough to speak with me about your experiences and what we can do to improve this rotation.  This will not have any negative impact on you personally.

Please email me at wand.gan@my.rfums.org with any personal experiences/concerns/suggestions you have regarding OB/GYN at Mount Sinai, and this information will be passed along ANONYMOUSLY to the appropriate people, including Dr. Blankstein who oversees the rotation at Mount Sinai.
